The ninth of February nineteen-ninety-one, A momentous, eventful, phenomenal day, When a glorious rendezvous in the shopping mall Brought a lively, high-spirited joy my way.
On that balmy San Jose Sunday afternoon, With a yearning for gifts and verses of love To delight Mike, Ashley, Michele and Kim We shopped for particular tokens unheard of. The excited squeals of at least thirty kids, Enticed us to an amazing, enchanting sight, Where twenty-one yipping and yelping puppies, Were displaying their love with all their might. We watched puppies frolic in their little arena. I immediately knew which doggy was mine. She grinned as she jumped and pranced around, So happy! So lively! My fantastic Valentine!
You have a Welch Corgi, the Veterinarian said. She’s healthy and sturdy and about two years old. I love my sweet Valentine and spoil her rotten, And I wouldn’t trade her for a bag of gold.
